We ended the 2021 season with a total catch of 202, which is our best total for 5 years and compares well with our total of 174 in 2020 and 183 in 2019. Overall we have to be pretty happy with the season given the COVID restrictions we had in place for the year, and the fact that our fishing pressure was about 80% of a normal season.
Jack Christison landed our first fish of the 2022 season with a lovely 12lber on a 2” Willie Gunn from Dalnashaugh on the Daltra beat at 8pm on Monday 18th April. Find more details on our latest catches on the News page.
This brown trout season on Loch Belivat is off to a very good start with over 60 fish caught before the end of April with a release rate of 95%.
Salmon fishing at Lethen includes the choice of prime beats on the beautiful River Findhorn from early May to the end of September.
The three rod Dunearn Beat is the top beat of the Lethen water and offers the angler every type of pool and stream in the Findhorn book. The two rod Daltra and Altnahara Beats are let together and rotate over the week combining to provide a superb variety of angling opportunities as the river passes through the steep Altnahara gorge and then moves to the open landscape of the Daltra beat.
